For our next release we are very proud to finally welcome this
fantastic producer to the Hands On Records label family. Dan
Thompson has been making all types of trance for many years.
Releasing on great labels such as Armin Van Buuren's A State Of
Trance, Armada, Black Hole, Coldharbour, FSOE, Flashover, Nocturnal
Knights and Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records. A weekly regular in
Matt Handy's Hands On Records shop back in the day... Dan has also
been an active DJ on the scene for years playing some top events. We
actually gave him his first DJ gig over 20 years ago at a DJ
Competition called Vinyl Meltdown and he played regularly at the
leading south coast event OVERLOAD THE FORT and CONTACT events for
many years. A true music lover and fanatical about Trance. It's a
pleasure to have him on board. Prime time for the dance floor with
an emotional breakdown, subtle pianos, big soaring riffs and an
eerie melodic atmosphere. Pitch Black builds to an unexpected
explosive drop reminiscent of the Tech Trance era of the early
2000's popular with DJ's like Marco V, Sander Van Doorn, Ferry
Corsten and Paul Van Dyk. Words from the Artist: Pitch Black was
made for my Odyssey Album. I wanted to make various Trance styles
and with this one I went dark, techy and progressive! It all started
with the melody then I created the kick, bass and percussion and
