Originally released in 1995, "We All We Gott" is a raw piece
of New York underground hip-hop from the Gunslinguz. Bigg Cy
and Trigga bring uncompromising street rhymes over dark, hard
hitting production by DJ Ready Red and E. Money, firmly rooted
in the sound of the golden East Coast era.
Cuts such as "Why You Wanna Test My Skills", "Who Da Enemy",
"Protect Yourself" and "Dreams (Getten Paid)" combine dusty
drums, sinister samples and rugged lyricism, capturing the
atmosphere of mid-90's Brooklyn underground rap at its
grittiest. One of the album's standout moments, "One
Mississippi", features a crew of guest MCs including Ruck,
later known to the world as Sean Price.
