Release Notes:
The Ripps are a three-piece that describe their
music as Alcopopalyptic, Chiptastic and Tostadora,
which would go someway to describe their sense of
fun and energy on-stage.
Brothers Patch and Raul Lagunas bumped in to old
school chum Rachel Butt (their now adopted little
sister) a few years back and formed a band. It all
sounds very simple but there have been plenty of ups
and downs along the way but it is with these
experiences with which they bring humour to their
songs.
The Ripps want their music to reflect the joys of
life, the sweet and bittersweet and they achieve
this effortlessly through high-energy Ramones
flavoured chops to English Psychedelica, via Mexico,
Morricone and Madchester. Prefect.
