   "Gurkkhas play a brand of Death Metal that is heavily influenced by
   American Death Metal. The slower parts remind me a bit of Immolation
   (although the bass is more discreet in Gurkkhas' case) while some of the
   faster moments seem to borrow a little bit from The Chasm. The vocals are
   of the guttural type but not overdone (i.e. you don't sense the
   vocalist's lunch coming back up), here again I'm reminded a bit of The
   Chasm. The guitars are what a like to call "razor sharp", with
   well-defined sharp riffs and an overall raw sound. The production is good
   for the genre and the music comes out strong and everything sounds pretty
   much into place, which for me is a requirement to really enjoy this genre
   of music. This is overall a very fast-paced album, with the occasional
   slowdowns that are pretty much the norm in that brand of Death Metal."
   Reissue with 4 bonus tracks from debut album at the start. Strange
   choice.
