Guitarist who is best known for his drive and
virtuosity. Inspired composer Michel Morissette has
performed many times at the Montreal International
Jazz Fest and other festivals in the country , and
has played with many important musicians . He
offers an original style, fundamentally Jazz,
Be-Bop and Funk, energetic and accessible, that we
can qualify as contemporary Hard Bop!
The first CD of The Michel Morissette Quintet ''The
Boilerman'' came out June 2004 and was acclaimed by
the people and medias with warmth. The recording of
the 2nd CD ''Big City'' was launched October 2006.
Surrounded by a great team of musicians, AndrΘ
Leroux Tenor Saxophone, Aaron Doyle Trumpet, Jean
Cyr Double Bass and Christian Lajoie on Drums.
