Your Dress" was the follow up date story, then "Precious
Time" is the perfect ending, by a frankly perfect band.
The Maccabees - a five peice from Brighton via South
London - have been busy hyping crowds into a frenzy while
touring around the country. Live show anthem "Precious
Time" is an everyman tale of adolescence, young love's
awkwardness and the joys and the exhilaration of your
first love.
Accurately mirroring the complexities of relatioships -
Orlando's lyrics manage to express both an aching anxiety
and knowing confidence. Cascading over the frenetic guitar
strumming from Hugo, Felix and Rupert, mixed with the
urgency of Robert's drum kicks - Precious Time is nothing
