       This is pure listening pleasure from beginning to end.
       Jan Vogler is well-known in Dresden, the Florence of the
       North, and Germany's beautiful city. After having
       listened to him perform, he has changed his style through
       the years, perhaps to adapt to the taste of New Yorkers,
       but nonetheless impressive. I like this CD because unlike
       other cello sonatas which aim to drive you to tears or
       purge your heart (no, thanks !), this one just plays
       splendid music. And the best surprise which was quite
       unusual to me, is that he ends the classical selection
       with a beautiful rendition of ``Moon River'' in flawless
       style. Bravo !
