| Released in 2012 on the album "Dancing Chords & Fireflies", the |
| track "Le temps est bon" was a resounding success. In 2017, |
| Degiheugi invited his closest friends from the beatmaking scene to |
| celebrate the track with a remix EP. L'Entourloop took on the remix |
| of the title track, while Smokey Joe and the Kid, Proleter, and |
| Kognitif each tackled a remix of their choice. Just like the |
| original 2012 single, this EP was pulled from sale following the |
| release of a remix by a DJ collective and Sony's acquisition of the |
| rights to the original sample-accompanied by a full-blown witch |
| hunt to erase every trace of the track and make people forget that |
| they had, in fact, swiped that brilliant idea... But then again, |
| did they force me or forbid me from distributing it for free? |
| Maybe, but who cares? After all, if they showed no scruples, why |
| should I? |
