With ROMEP115, Chris Piece invites us into a sonic landscape that
feels less like a traditional EP and more like a descent into a
subterranean world. The Nation EP is a clinical, surgical
exploration of the darker side of minimal techno, trading the
genre's occasional playfulness for a brooding, industrial grit.
As the tracks unfold, Piece maintains a masterclass in atmospheric
restraint. He avoids the clutter of unnecessary melodies, opting
instead for haunting, distant pads and processed vocal fragments
