tacked-on remixes from Mouse on Mars, Markus Schmickler (Pluramon),
Schlammpeitziger, and F. Ackermann. Word on the street has is that
the recent founding of the Popular Tools Organisation by Mr.
Bionaut
proper was sparked by ill dealings w/a certain revived
EMI-funded/Cologne-themed electronic subsidiary, and that this
release was conceived as the means to end an obligatory contractual
engagement, that of the legal right to the name 'The Bionaut' (in
fact; the only text behind the clear CD-tray reads;
"good-bye-onaut..."). Hogwash or not, THERE ARE MOUSE ON
MARS/MARKUS
SCHMICKLER/SCHMLAMMPEITZEIGER REMIXES ON HERE, reason enough to buy
ANYTHING. The album itself (tracks 1-11) consists on some of
Joerg's
finest compositional research, and contains at least one homage to
Americana via acoustic guitar usage/stolen reconstructionist
