With a plethora of old school analog synths, home-built theremins, a
headless bass, drums, and a vocoder, Add N to (X) gave an energetic and
entertaining performance. The cramped upper level of the El Mocombo tavern
encouraged audience interaction; Ann Shenton relinquished her wooden
theremin to audience members for a few songs, and looked on joyfully as
they furiously gesticulated around its antennae.
