Finally! Five years in the making, the official debut
album sees the light of day. Begun as a modest project
between the whimsical minds of Xololanxinxo (Of Mexican
Descent), Tommy V (LA2thebay) and the Ramos brothers
(Anonymous Inc), the six-piece band Toca has blossomed
unto a life its own and culminated a dedicated
following, spawned from early recordings and their
incredible live performances. Combining elements of
rock, reggae, hip hop, punk and blues (sometimes within
the span of a song), they have attracted many ears,
making the likes of Busdriver, Mikah 9, Pigeon John and
more eager to work with them. So many elements and
influences involved in the process of recording hundreds
of songs, now handpicked to a collection of sixteen.
Consider this the first of many albums to come from the
genius that is TOCA.
