SILVI DIGI 007
Silvi Digital reaches release number seven with a record that comes
straight from the label's core. Brizman - as seasoned behind the
decks as he is in the studio - joins forces with Berlin-based Guyrot
for My Brain EP.
Two artists aiming straight for the moment the room shifts into high
gear. Brizman's years on the floor shape the architecture: weight in
the low end, kicks with real shoulders, tension held exactly where
it needs to be. Guyrot brings his own edge and forward motion, honed
through releases on Satya, Heisenberg, Zapped Records, Perception
Records and Anxiety Therapy, with support across the international
underground circuit.
The result is a record with one clear purpose: take control of the
room and hold it. Pressure builds, releases, then comes back heavier
- six minutes engineered around the physical language of a
dancefloor at full capacity.
The artwork plays the same game with perception: blue paint and
orange rust from one angle, sea and sand from another.
