This guy's stuff sure comes in handy and always goes down a treat.
Tech house with soul befitting the homage d'image (or is it d'homage
image'?). The title cut goes deeply stompin æn snappin along, with a
hypnotically weaving house organ, sighs, and subliminal + other vocal
phrases that add nicely to this moving pumper, sexy!
"Mindless Tides" is nice to wrap things up with, the vocal sample,
"We are gathered here today to put this beat to rest" rides a pumping
deep mellow beat, lush synth sweeps, and other lovely feelings.
"Magic Prison" goes for big sawing beats, pulsing organ ladders, neat
bongos, crickets and what seems like a raft of other animals being
soothed and riled up at the same time, but they don't mind, cause
they're happy!
"Together" is a hypnotic pulser with big steady beats that get
doubled and all squidgy, a deep trippy vox, and a guy talking about
crickets chirps...nice!
