Alex Under's 5th release on Trapez "1,2,3, Responda OTrapez" marks a
difference insound and design.
The a-side track "Extrapezlo" is a jolly groovy uplifting
''funkateer'' with acoustic sounds popping in and out to give it a
cool breathing aura.
"Trapezones Erectos" on the flipside is an alert techno monster that
is based on anmodulating ''alarm signal sound'', micro melodies that
are speeded up, all of if todisembogue in another crazy sequence in
the last third of the track, providing it with aversatility that
elevates this track and distinguishes it from mono minimal techno.
As "Extrapezlo" it also works with acoustic sounds in correlation to
synthetic music andcreates further dynamic shifts.
Last but not least the b2 track "Otra Pezera" is a result of the
communication between Alex Under and Riley Reinhold for the need of
electronic techno music without bassdrumrhythms.
"Otra Pezera" is a cool rhythmic ''soundtrack'', with voices and
sounds from public places recorded by Alex Under during on of his
numerous gigs around the world. It flows into aheavy sequenced
bassline and gives the DJ a nice possibility to create dynamic
changes.
