Release Notes:

Praise for Epsilons: ôA testosterone-fuelled
counterpart to Yeah Yeah Yeahs... a welcome pimple
on the face of The OC's flawless sterilityö. û
Metro (UK)

ôMy new favorite band. These OC moptops hammer out
some of the most righteous primitive thuds that
I've shaken and shivered to in years. Erie organ,
new wave handclaps, spazzed out retro guitar licks
rounded off with squeaky out of tune vocals.
Brilliantö. - Maximum Rocknroll

Epsilons return with Killed æEm Deader æN A Six
Card Poker Hand, the follow-up to their critically
acclaimed self titled debut album from 2006. Ty
Segall (guitar/vocals), Michael Anderson
(keyboards), Charlie Moonheart (Bass) and Roland
Cosio (drums) are all a year older and, as of this
writing, should all be successfully graduated from
Laguna Beach High School by the time Killed æEm...
hits the streets. The band, that started out using
Walkie Talkies to record their vocals on early
demos, return to true garage rock form, and
recorded this go-round at The Distillery with the
amazingly talented Mike McHugh (who has also
recorded the likes of John Spencer Blues Explosion,
Laguna Music, Rocket From The Crypt, Lightning
Bolt, The Melvins, The Starvations, among others).
This album captures the Epsilons live sound, which
has become a staple at area Los Angeles all ages
venues like The Smell. Such a favorite with The
Smell are the band that club owner Jim Smith
released a split 7 inch in 2006 featuring the band
(along with Hips) on the clubÆs imprint label
OlFactory Records.
