And now joining the Tresor roster of artists, Tim Wright
delivers first a new 12" maxi EP for the Tresor label:
"Definitely Wrong EP". Opening with "Definitely Wrong",
this track features the voice of Toastie Tailor, from
Tim's album "Thirst". Slamming directly into a full-out
rave beat, this track is pure Tresor: big sound,
unrelenting techno phunk - a new force in UK electronica
for sure. TURN UP THE VOLUME. Flip the record over and
"Spindle" tells a completely different story. Here Wright
takes you into a tenebrous area: a minimal treat with
electro-jazz tinges that pays a certain homage to the
early minimal Detroit soundmakers. Diminutive and moody,
"Spindle" recalls Wright's early efforts with Germ.
