Produces under Exzakt, Larry McCormick, Netzwerk Florida w/Anthony
Rother, Resident Alien w/James WolfeRemixes for Anthony Rother, Freddy
Fresh, Decal, & DJ Snowman.Labels: Monotone USA, PSI49NET, Satamile,
Data Punk, Frajile Recordings, Exceleration Records A1. "Second Wa ve"
kicks off this brilliant ep with hard drivingbass lines full of rythem
and feel. Growling thick bass end melodys and stellar vocal samples
will make this track comfortable in any kind of space. Complex
arrangements reflecting from one to the next keep this track from ever
sliding into the doldrums. Brilliant breakdowns for those b-boys to
flip out to and to keep the feet dancing. At the same time this track
is very emotive, as strong melodic deep noir tonalitys kicks in at the
end. Miami meets Raymond Chandler
B1. Sub.Sonic Base comes out of the gate fast as soon as the needle
drops into the groove, drivin hard but warm with a full on Breakin
Miami Bass elctro. This is the real stuff, with some tweaked out
vocoded vocal samples used sparingly in the mix.Again a great sense of
timing in the arrangements, never becoming boring and allways changing
and driving hard after the breakdowns. B2.End of the Pain- wraps up
this super solid 12 inch with one the deeper and more melodic tracks.
Again the programming mixing and production are perfect. Strong
melodies flow in over the break resonating with dark , mysterious
tonalities. First break goes into a Stacatto interlude overlayed with
the words "joy and pain" repeated , with thick melody's ,. Dark
mysterious, Electro with superb production , balance, and personality.

Urb Online Magazine, Massiv May 24th, 2003Magical Maydaze, Ice Palace
Studios, Miami, FLExzakt is known for track's he's put on compilations
as well as tracks he's put on hiselectro mix CD's like Electro Breakz
Vol. 6 (Streatbeat Records), but this is the firsttime Miami got to
see him behind a cockpit of workstations. His smooth brand oftight,
breaky electro bass hypnotized the popping crowd. As many beat
doctorssway towards glitchy experimentalism, the past (bartos),
present (rother), andfuture (exzakt) of electro showed how smooth
criminals should engage a crowd.By Humberto GuidaView Magazine--------

New Times, Basshead Sept. 4th, 2003Back to School: When you talk to
electro-bass prodigy Exzakt, you better take notesBasshead has met
many elitists during his travels. (Hell, I am an elitist.) I have
argued over the merits of shoegazer-lite quartet Lush with Brit-pop
fanatics; I have championed the artistic strengths of old-school
trance producers like Future Sound of London to house aficionados; I
have wrestled with East Coast beatnuts over therelative worth of twee
indie hip-hop heroes like Anticon. But the seriousness and aesthetic
grace of electro-bass producer Larry "Exzakt" McCormick stuns me into
silence. Read complete article in link below.By Mosi ReevesView

Electronic Dream Nuff Nuff /U.S. /12'Unlike the super-bouncy snap
breaks and cheese samples of many of his cohorts, FloridianLarry
McCormick serves up deep, restrained, tech-electro tones that are both
timeless andfresh. Easy, cool drum pattering and minimal, spacious
compositions rule the grooves on this slab. Although the cuts here are
not necessarily inventive as a whole, Exzakt's preciseengineering come
off insanley complete and individually clean.By DJ PushView Magazine--

Anthony Rother: Biomechanik Remixes [ PSI49NET, GERMANY]Legendary
German sound meister Anthony Rother drops another electro bomb taken
from his album last year 'Simulationszeitalter'. As you would expect
you get genuine Autobahn strength beats but with his trademark melodic
touch. To extend the appeal even further there is an extremely choice
'Larry McCormick mix which strips things back for the floor. Rother is
managing to put a fresh take on a genre that can still sound
futuristic. It's a lot less bother with Rother.RATED 9 of 10By Rennie
