D-Formation & Alex Medina return with a two-track EP celebrating the
timeless connection between music, emotion and the dancefloor
YES TO ALL, the collaborative project of D-Formation and Alex
Medina, return with We Used to Dance, a two-track EP that further
defines the sonic identity of the project while embracing the
timeless spirit of club culture.
Featuring the originals "We Used to Dance" and "Julio Soleado," the
EP explores two sides of the same idea: electronic music made for
the dancefloor, but driven by emotion, atmosphere and a deeper
connection with the moment.
Since the release of their debut Preludio, YES TO ALL have been
shaping a distinctive musical language built around hypnotic
grooves, powerful basslines, analogue textures and melodic elements.
Their productions move freely between house, indie dance and melodic
electronic music, always placing groove and emotion at the heart of
the experience.
With We Used to Dance, D-Formation and Alex Medina take that
philosophy into a more direct and evocative territory.
WE USED TO DANCE
The title track is a statement of intent.
We Used to Dance is about the nights we remember, the records that
made us move and that almost physical connection between music and a
crowded dancefloor.
Driven by a hypnotic groove, tension and a strong melodic presence,
the track combines contemporary production with the raw spirit of
club culture. Rather than looking back through nostalgia, it
reconnects with the feeling itself ? the reason we stepped onto the
dancefloor in the first place.
It is not about how we used to dance. It is about why we danced.
JULIO SOLEADO
Julio Soleado takes the EP into a brighter and more expansive space.
Warm, melodic and evocative, the track introduces a sense of summer,
freedom and open space while keeping the groove firmly at its core.
Here, melody and texture become central elements, creating an
emotional atmosphere that balances perfectly with the more driving
energy of the title track.
Together, the two tracks form a concise statement of what YES TO ALL
stands for: groove, emotion and freedom ? music made for the
