Party, etc), the five minute long 'Smokers Outside The
Hospital Doors' has been earmarked by Editors as the lead
single from their new album, 'An End Has A Start', since
it's inception at the close of 2006. The track documents
Tom Smith's reaction to a growing realisation of the
confusion and complexity of life; the things we term the
"big questions". The title is both darkly humorous and
deeply poignant and is the perfect introduction to the
