As usual, for the 10th anniversary issue of the successful compilation series
"Science Fiction Jazz", music freak Robert Jan Meyer a.k.a. Minus 8 applies all
tracks for the primeness to the topical music scene. "Science Fiction Jazz"
detects new trends, developed by future oriented artists. Again, the compilation
creates new high-class standards. This time, Minus 8 takes you in a strong grip
from the first track to the last and manages to keep on surprising you: you'll
find smooth & jazzy bits, female vocals, Acid Jazz inspired songs, cool-cat New
Jazz traces, Latin influences, Hip Hop beats, organ, sax and xylophone, airy
guitars leading into a catchy Drum'n'Bass track, abstract sounds and intimate
songs - a journey into a satisfying and inspiring universe of today's music
production. Each listener will discover two amazing things. First: everyone will
find his or her very special pearl. Second: the tracklisting is so smartly
arranged, that you want to hear the compilation all over again. Take it as a
promise - you will remember what you hear! With tracks by K`Bonus, Zero dB,
Nightmares on Wax, Airmate feat. Mozez, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, Koop, J Dilla,
Minus 8 himself and many more.
We keep what music enthusiast deserve, this disc is softfaded which can't be
saved with a WEB release! We recommend to buy the album.
