Mastered by Moritz Von Oswald, the mighty Calvin
Bubbles Cameron returns with "new recordings,
blazing grounation roots reggae." Inspiring heady
sounds from drums and trombone master Cameron, who
played with Tommy McCook, counted Don Drummond as a
neighbour, was a veteran of the Count Ossie
Mystical Revelation of Rastafari and The Light Of
Saba groups, the latter joining on this album for
full on Repeta and Funda, magical bass drum,
chanting and trombone action, with further horns
from Deadley Headley Bennett and David Madden - the
vibe here is simply awesome. Calvin's own words
speak as eloquently of times playing joyful
foundation roots music - with alchemical names like
Blue Beck and Mary Cow Tail conjure a supremely
vivid rendering - replayed here once again with
little dimming of the music original and still
unquestionable power. Lovely stuff...
