'Functionary is a 13 track 3 inch cd from Xylitol, aka Jim Backhaus, long time dj at London's Kosmiche
club. It's inspired by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, early Mute stuff like Thomas Leer and Robert
Rental, Krautrock utopianists Cluster and the 1978 -1982 explosion in diy electronics. It's a mix of diy
electro pop, hyperactive casiotone disco, empty psychotic electronic pop. This is his first release on this
new label, but adaadat and disco_r have stuff by him forthcoming next year!
