Holy shit. This album is BRILLIANT.
Paradise is the second CD album by Zak Roberts, a.k.a. Cdatakill, and
it is a glorious example of just what you can do with mashed-up
beats. Not as violent and chaotic as Venetian Snares, the beats
counteract nicely with the melodies and samples and make this album
one of the best things I've heard in a while.
The second disc is a reissue of his first album, Brazilian Nightmare,
originally a CDR on Eupholus Records. No beats here. Pure ambience.
Except for the remixes at the end.
CD2 probably should've been released with a .cue, but then the bonus
tracks at the end would've been weird. Also, if you want to hear this
disc as it was originally intended, PLEASE BUY IT! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL
INDEPENDENT LABELS! (even though Ad Noiseam might not be local)
