ItÆs Dousk that kicks off the first mix. His warm, rich sound breathes quality
throughout and once again this is evident on his interpretation of "Freak æN
Love". Dousk has stayed close to the original approach of Petter but turned it
into a much housier vibe with plenty of wizardy in sounds and a clever
arrangement that should do the trick on the floor. Rotterdam based Muzikjunki is
on a roll lately. With plenty of music coming out on CR2, Deep, Focus, Brooklyn
Zoo, LMR, Toolroom and other labels heÆs getting more and more comfortable with
his sound. HeÆs taken the parts and added MuzzaikÆs vocals of "Work It" cleverly
on top of it. The result is a nice dancefloor minded remix with solid beats and
the wicked bassline growling nicely throughout the whole mix. Last and certainly
not least itÆs Chloe Harris and Deeburn. Unlike many other producers Chloe
Harris isnÆt taking the obvious route and with this mix sheÆs already showcasing
a fine taste in arrangements and sound, and has found a great studio partner in
the form of Deeburn. The overall production sounds really warm and housey
although many elements of techno have been incorporated. Their sound is likely
to captivate many over the coming months.
