░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ What if love came from another planet? ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ I LOVE AN ALIEN is probably the most personal and The most ▒█░
░█▒ conceptual album EXTIZE has ever written. It tells the story of a ▒█░
░█▒ relationship û of the first search for a person who really suits ▒█░
░█▒ you, about falling in love, difficult phases to the Realization ▒█░
░█▒ that love can grow instead of breaking. ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ The 15-song album accompanies this relationship step by step by ▒█░
░█▒ step in chronological order. It starts with the Feeling of ▒█░
░█▒ longing û the search for a partner, sending signals into the ▒█░
░█▒ unknown and hoping that somewhere out there the right person is ▒█░
░█▒ waiting. Then follows the encounter, the attraction and the ▒█░
░█▒ intoxication of physical Desire. The butterflies in the stomach. ▒█░
░█▒ The moment when suddenly everything seems bigger than you are ▒█░
░█▒ himself. ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ But this is not a fairy tale. The story goes deeper. With as the ▒█░
░█▒ relationship grows, so do its downsides. Doubts creep in. Inner ▒█░
░█▒ demons are getting louder. Uncertainty and fear put the ▒█░
░█▒ connection to the test. Love no longer consists only of ▒█░
░█▒ butterflies in the stomach û it also means learning to stay, ▒█░
░█▒ although running away is easier . ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ The album deals with what comes after the first Flight of fancy ▒█░
░█▒ happens û the emotional lows. It's about trust, an open ▒█░
░█▒ relationship, sexuality and freedom as well as the realization ▒█░
░█▒ that love does not mean possession . Sometimes love even gets ▒█░
░█▒ stronger when you give it the space to breathe. ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ All this takes place in a retrofuturistic parallel world, in ▒█░
░█▒ which where a man falls in love with an alien. But the alien is ▒█░
░█▒ much more than that than just a science fiction character. It ▒█░
░█▒ stands for the unknown in the other person û for those sides, ▒█░
░█▒ that seem strange, different or even intimidating. And with of ▒█░
░█▒ time, what once seemed strange becomes something that feels like ▒█░
░█▒ a home. ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ Musically, the album combines classic influences from Goth, ▒█░
░█▒ Darkwave and post-punk with the modern electro-industrial sound ▒█░
░█▒ of EXTIZE. Cold, melodic passages meet driving beats and ▒█░
░█▒ energetic club sounds. The vocals of RAPHA HELL move between ▒█░
░█▒ clear, fragile melodies and deep, aggressive growls û and thus ▒█░
░█▒ reflects the emotional highs and depths of the relationship. On ▒█░
░█▒ board the spaceship are also the darkTunes Music Group label ▒█░
░█▒ mates AGNIS, MORTES and WHITE RITUAL as guest vocalists. ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ I LOVE AN ALIEN is not about perfect love. It's about real Love û ▒█░
░█▒ about the kind of love, the ups and downs and decides to grow ▒█░
░█▒ together instead of disappear. This album is more than just a ▒█░
░█▒ collection of songs û it's a relationship that you have to build ▒█░
░█▒ from start to finish . ▒█░
░█▒ ▒█░
░█▒ Welcome to Alien Love Club! ▒█░
