The duo of Distorture, well known to established audiences of Serenna,
Shemsu Hor and Lightslastfading, began initially as the solo project of
Jason Just before vocalist Kane was brought on board early in 2006. Since
then they have recorded their EP, 'revere' whose compositions explore dark
ambient and neofolk, industrial and noise elements, in experimental
song-form.
Recently recording in Wellington with Michel of Disjecta Membra as guest
vocalist, Distorture comleted a further two tracks for an upcoming 12"
vinyl.
The six-panel gatefold digipak 'revere' first 100 copies contains a
subscription voucher for the upcoming limited edition 12" vinyl.
