Always keen to spotlight fresh talent pushing electronic music
forward, Spectrum welcomes Indian producer AURAPAX to the label with
his debut release, 'Afterparty / RAMA'. Leading the charge,
'Afterparty' is a propulsive juggernaut built for peak-time impact.
An electric synth melody steadily rises in intensity, locking into a
driving groove as a spoken vocal delivers the promise that the night
is going to be 'insane.' It's a bold, high-energy cut that builds
anticipation with every bar before unleashing its full force on the
dancefloor. On the flip, 'RAMA' takes a more personal and culturally
rooted approach. Drawing on childhood memories and his Indian
heritage, AURAPAX fuses Sanskrit spoken-word chants with
contemporary melodic techno, creating a striking meeting point
between East and West. The result is an evocative mainstage
statement that feels both deeply personal and designed for huge
spaces. Both tracks have already become go-to weapons for Spectrum
label boss Joris Voorn, soundtracking his sets throughout the
summer. Having been Tomorrowland-tested and Awakenings-approved,
AURAPAX arrives on Spectrum with a debut that makes an immediate
statement.
