from Boomkat:
Another Berlin producer who has long been shrouded in mystery makes a long overdue return this week,
following on from the unlikely re-emergance of Substance and Vainqueur last week. T++ will be best
known to many as producer and co-writer of some of the finest Monolake releases of recent years
alongside Robert Henke, but his legacy stretches all the way back to some of the most forward-thinking
Techno releases of the late 90's, first under the legendary Erosion and Resilent monikers for Chain
reaction, then under the confusing "Various Artists" tag (a project which has the notable claim of being not
only responsible for one of the finest ever releases on Chain Reaction but also one of the most sought-
after 12"s a fledgling Fat Cat label released back in 1997, followed by a remix package that included rare
contributions from Autechre, Pole and Monolake) and then, finally, as the seminal techno/breaks hybrid
known as Dynamo. Actually Dynamo was so instrumental in shaping the direction of dub-soaked techno
post basic-channel that we'd happily claim that, pound for pound, T++ can lay claim to being one of the
most innovative techno producers of the last decade - no mean feat. Anyway, as we were saying, T++ has
dusted off his equipment and has, remarkably, re-emerged this week with the first release in what
promises to be a flawless label - promisingly titled "Erosion". As for the material itself - pure, rediculously
good, squashed Techno of the highest order, submerged in the kind of filthy breaks-template words can
honestly do no justice to. Give it a listen - it's a sick twelve, and an utterly essential purchase. Killer!!
