██ Acorn is an acoustic group from Finland. The band
██ started as a trio with guitar player Jaakko Murros
██ in august 2005. Nowadays there's five of us:
██ Christa Renwall (voc), Antti Vuorenmaa
██ (dobro,guitar,harp guitar), Saku Mattila (guitar)
██ Heikki Laine (bass,double bass) & Kukka Lehto
██ (violine,baritone violin). Our music is a kind of
██ mixture of pop and the music of american
██ heartland: country, bluegrass and folk.

██ We founded this band mainly because we all shared
██ the very same enthusiasm for simple acoustic
██ music. We all like such amazing groups & artists
██ as Alison Krauss Union Station, Sheryl Crow, Jerry
██ Douglas, etcàjust to mention a few. To be honest,
██ there is SO MUCH great music in this world.

██ Our aim is to give our listeners something easy
██ and simp,like songs from the good old days...with
██ as high musical quality as we ever can produce.
