'Ice Cream', the New Young Pony Club anthem, is a sparsely
minimal punk funk jerkout that sounds like a distaff
version excursion on disco-era Rolling Stones fronted by
the SlitsÆ Ari Up and produced by David Byrne and Brian
Eno. Live favourite and Intel advert soundtrack, 'Ice
Cream' gets a full release, followed by the release of
their debut album, 'Fantastic Playroom', which promises to
be one of the most exciting records of the year.
Intent on establishing something distinctly potent and
exciting, Andy and Tahita formed NYPC in 2005. Now a
five-piece with the additional members, Igor (bass) Lou
(keyboards) and Sarah (drums), New Young Pony Club provide
the kind of tight and bass-heavy future discoid noise
