One of the UK leading purveyors of funky, underground and cutting-edge
house, Burnski steps up to bat once again with Me And You - his latest
12 for Dessous. After recent outings under Steve Bugs Poker Flat
imprint, as well as an amazing remix of Gamal Kabars 4 Lally on the
new Poker Flat Digital platform, our man continues his story with 2
up-front originals house cuts dripping with class.
Trickling, throbbing and swirling around an excitable voodoo house
percussion track, the haunting vocal snippets and midnight synth hooks
of Me And You combine and build to a veritable crescendo. Understated,
cool and collected, its a mature track that finds its roots firmly in
the tech-tribal house patch, yet reaches out in the beyond with
freaky, funky vibes throughout!
The Light kicks off with a suitably Burnsksi-esque groove, slowly
unfolding into a jacking, bouncy and fresh classic houser. Airy,
playful and glistening with the morning sun of a new day, the track
doesnt let go of the night however and makes for a real late-doors
burner. No-nonsense quality house music for those who know.
