release notes:
Forged in the Finnish underground, GOATBURNER return with "Time of
Danger", a crushing collection that unites the band's earliest and latest
material into one essential release. Originally spread across the
self-released "Time to Burn" and "Danger" EPs, these tracks now come
together on a single record, documenting the evolution of the duo's
uncompromising blend of old school death metal, sludge and powerviolence.
Raw, primitive and relentlessly heavy, "Time of Danger" captures
GOATBURNER's signature balance between suffocating riffs, crushing
grooves and relentless aggression. Featuring artwork painted by drummer
Spider, the release reflects the bleak atmosphere of the modern world
while preserving the band's underground spirit and DIY roots.
Formed by Finnish extreme metal veterans known for their work in Rotten
Sound, Ratface, Morbid Evils, Skulmagot and Pikakassa, GOATBURNER have
built a reputation through relentless live activity. Following tours
across Europe, including dates with Delinquentes and the Napalm Death -
Campaign for Musical Destruction Tour 2026, the duo continues to bring
its devastating wall of sound to stages worldwide.
