The Smallville Records crew see Ordinaire Records co-founder El Kazed as
something of a kindred spirit, musically speaking, and have offered the
Strasbourg-based producer the opportunity to release a multi-part EP, SXB
Deep Tales. Part one begins with two versions of 'You Have To Know': the
deliciously deep, trippy and futuristic original mix, where a dubby
bassline, dreamy chords and spacey electronics catch the ear, and the more
jacking, forthright 'deep space mix'. Over on side B, Jean Bisello lends a
hand on the deep, tactile, dubby and ultra-dreamy 'The Sun and The Sky',
while Midva features on the gorgeously jazzy, Kai Alce style wonder that is
'When Hearts Meet' - a seriously sensual, seductive and emotion-rich
affair. Deep house perfection, basically.
enjoy!
