For a time in the æ90s Digit and EFX were a
phenomenon. Out of the anglophile and forward-
looking San Francisco club scene, they pre-dated by
a good few years the sound that became known as
simply æWest CoastÆ. The duoÆs rough and ready
tracky grooves found instant favour on UK and
European dancefloors and this ass-shaking ode to
the unholy smoke features an early mix from a young
