A youthful Satoshi Tomiie made a grand entry on the
house music stage in 1989 thanks to his part,
alongside Frankie Knuckles and Robert Owens, in the
classic æTearsÆ. Hooking up with Knuckles and David
Morales in Def Mix, a family thatÆs still going
strong today, Satoshi was never the most prolific
of producers, but he did turn up this gem in 1994.
æThe ThemeÆ was never a huge record - itÆs just a
little too thoughtful and musical to cause mayhem
on a dancefloor û but as a superbly musical deep
house groove, it's very hard to beat.
