    ,:   Through his more than two dozen recordings as a leader or chief   :,
     :   collaborator, saxophonist John Gunther has aesthetically          :
     :'  wandered far and wide, finding colors, textures and grooves      ':

     :   bandmates. For Painting the Dream, he looked to pianist Dawn      :
