█ █▓░█ After touring 2004Æs Meltdown, ôeverythingö had to be █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ shaken up ù ônot just in the band, but in our livesö, █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Tim recently admitted. When you consider that this is █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ a guy who has spent his entire adult life in the █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ limelight (even opening his A-Level results live on █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ national radio), you canÆt blame him for wanting a █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ break. █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Relocating to New York, Tim couldnÆt get the band out █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ of his head. So along with bassist Mark and drummer █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Rick, he found a vacant studio in downtown NYC. It █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ would become AshÆs new home, the place where Twilight █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ would take shape. █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ By mid-2007, the record was complete. So the band █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ returned to the stage with bundles of raw energy, █░▓█ █

█ █▓░█ fan during that gig ù who turned out to be Patti █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Smith ù was so awestruck she ended up invading the █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ stage, while a pre-Pogues Shane MacGowan had part of █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ his ear bitten off (out of affection, of course). █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Other notable events include obscure German band █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Einstⁿrzende Neubauten attempting to leave the stage █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ by drilling a hole in it, and the Sonic Mook █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ Experiment in 2002, which invigorated the raw energy █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ of the British music scene. █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ ItÆs 20 years since acid house, 30 since punk, 40 █░▓█ █
█ █▓░█ since Sgt. Pepper and 50 since KerouacÆs On The Road. █░▓█ █
