You fly a water-bucket helicopter over the Canary Islands ? the
real ones, in their real shapes, in their real proportions to each
other. Dip in the Atlantic, climb over the ridge, and lay the load
on a fire that is spreading while you fly. You are not alone up
there: three crew helicopters and two Canadairs are working the
same island, and between you the fire either goes out or it
doesn?t.

Up there with you
Helicopters and Canadair water bombers flying the same island,
filling and dropping on their own. They help. They are also traffic
? the bombers will fly straight through you if you?re in the way.
