Airsigns Music is proud to present 'Space Light Flowers' the label
debut from Timothy Love.
An established producer in his own right, Tim is a core part of
Love Studios Inc a studio collective based in Sydney / Eora Nation
Australia.
Mr Love brings us decades of obsession with arcane outboard gear
and techniques; working with classic drum machines, samplers,
effects and instruments to create music that has familiar DNA, but
relevant and forward thinking in its delivery.
This isn't nostalgia for the sake of it, it is the culmination of a
life-long creative process that has fuelled this project and
several before.
'Space Light Flowers' offers up three originals and a killer remix
from long time supporter Lauer.
The EP meets at the intersection between classic detroit / chicago
sounds, and a more playful Balearic aesthetic that throws back to
the glory days of dream house.
BPMs are sultry, yet the EP is firmly aimed at the dance floor -
rarefied moments of long terrace nights, smoking cigarettes with
strangers and blissed out catalan sunrises.
Sonic footprints of the Roland SH101, TB 303, the Juno, Korg and
the Jupiter are here; 808s and 909s rhythmically punctuate a deft
sampling approach to create a sonic palette that feels like fizzy,
white dove hugs.
This warmth is juxtaposed with the more driving bass-led title
track that leans even further into those classic chunky Roland
drums and brings a more narcotic yet still playful energy.
Long time supporter of the label, Lauer's 'posh trance' remix dials
up the 'kawaiii' fun-factor and loved up feels, pushing the record
further into stratospheric, hedonistic Hacienda territory.
Early support has been strong with key tastemakers and house music
originators spinning the record from Sub Club to Wiggle, to P-bar
and back again.
Name check Optimo, Jorkes, Danny Howles, Terry Farley, Daniele
Baldelli, Evil Eddie Richards, Rocky, Massimiliano Pagliara,
Carista and more.
Said like any proud parent, we really love this record and have it
on good authority that this debut is the first of many to come
through the imprint ;)
With love, Airsigns Music 2026.
