- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------- -

...we fade to grey was formed in the spring of 2004 as a four member piece.
They started to write songs with a line-up basically consisting of guitar,
bass and drums but completed it with the saxophone player Silke Lay after a
short time. The band played some shows in regional clubs and recorded their
first demo-album which was released in November 2006. ...we fade to grey
however parted with Silke in the summer of 2006 which was of course a hard
situation for the band because they had to compensate the saxophone.
Therefore they asked Flora FΣhrmann to join the group and become the new
synthesizer player and third vocalist but because of personal reasons she
   also left the band.

Over the two years and with the change of the line-up the sound of ...we fade
to grey has changed. They still have catchy elements in their songs as they
had at the beginning of the band and as you can hear on their demo but now
they also walk into a new direction: ...we fade to grey makes songs more
complex. Its Indie-Post-Punk-mixture features partly tricky songstructures
and nervous vocal- or screaming-parts to make the songs interesting.
