dXb Release Notes dXb
dXb dXb
dXb Samim heralds the arrival of his debut album for Get dXb
dXb Physical with 'Heater', an exuberant slice of dXb
dXb electronic house that has already set pulses racing dXb
dXb on dancefloors around the world and looks set to dXb
dXb become a club smash over the course of the summer. dXb
dXb 'Heater' arrives backed with a slamming remix from dXb
dXb Claude Von Stroke and brand new track dXb
dXb 'Ultraviolet'.... dXb
dXb dXb
dXb Swiss-Iranian Samim has already built up a dXb
dXb considerable following in discerning dance circles, dXb
dXb thanks to his breathtaking live performances and dXb
dXb top-drawer productions (both solo and with sometime dXb
dXb collaborator Michal Ho) for esteemed labels like dXb
dXb Kindisch, Tuning Spork, Circus Company and Moon dXb
dXb Harbour, not to mention remixes for Crosstown Rebels, dXb
dXb Dirtybird and Four:Twenty. He has also been known as dXb
dXb one half of the Fuckpony Project, and has released an dXb
dXb album as Bearback. 'Heater', and the debut own-name dXb
dXb LP for Get Physical from which it is taken, finds dXb
dXb Samim at the top of his production game. dXb
dXb dXb
dXb 'Heater' was one of the buzz tracks of Sonar 2007, dXb
dXb and has picked up huge support from DJs like Ewan dXb
dXb Pearson, Jesse Rose, MANDY, Sven Vaeth and dXb
dXb Tiefschwarz. It begins with a tight, insidiously dXb
dXb funky rhythm, clipped and minimalist but also full of dXb
dXb bounce and swing. Samim locks us into this heads-down dXb
dXb groove before unleashing the hook which has been dXb
dXb driving dancefloors wild: a spiralling, unashamedly dXb
dXb feelgood accordian melody chopped and edited to dXb
dXb induce full-on dancefloor hysteria. With its nagging dXb
dXb melody, dizzying synths and fat percussion, 'Heater' dXb
dXb is a track custom-built to raise the temperature in dXb
dXb clubs and terraces across the globe, but for all its dXb
dXb sense of fun and humour it is, above all, a highly dXb
dXb sophisticated, technically dazzling piece of house dXb
dXb music. dXb
dXb dXb
dXb California's minimal tech-funk maestro Claude dXb
dXb VonStroke supplies a jacking-yet-hypnotic remix on dXb
dXb the flip, adding deep conga rhythms, employing a mad dXb
dXb array of samples, and performing his own unique dXb
dXb surgery on that accordian melody to create a buoyant, dXb
dXb almost tribal version that is at once stripped-down dXb
dXb and full-bodied, warm. The Dirtybird boss manages to dXb
dXb create something loveably hectic out of the dXb
dXb components Samim provides, melting all that energy dXb
dXb down into a no-nonsense percussive groove. dXb
dXb dXb
dXb Finally, Samim offers up a brand new track in the dXb
dXb shape of Ultraviolet - an immaculate blast of the dXb
dXb swinging minimalist funk at which we all know Samim dXb
dXb excels. Samim patiently builds the groove before dXb
dXb dropping warped vocal samples and a killer bass drop dXb
dXb which will send shivers down your spine. Irresistible dXb
dXb drops, wailing sirens and ultra-punchy drum dXb
dXb programming: expect this one to become a trusted dXb
dXb weapon in the box of DJs in the know. dXb
dXb dXb
dXb Three tracks of smart, fun and dancefloor-destroying dXb
dXb club music from the talented Samim. Look out for the dXb
dXb forthcoming album Flow, and prepare to witness dXb
dXb temperatures soar in a club near you when the dXb
dXb mercurial sounds of 'Heater' descend... dXb
