█ Malik was born and raised in Washington, D.C. █
█ Malik started performing at a very early age. His █
█ participation in family and friends gatherings █
█ were to sing prior to meals being served. █
█ At age 15, Malik decided to pursue a career in █
█ the music industry. He formed the group, Corner █
█ Boys, and they performed in local events █
█ throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan █
█ area. █
█ Later, Malik created the former R&B group, █
█ Romantic Flavor, out of Washington, D.C. The █
█ group toured with ROU Productions. In 1993, they █
█ released their first CD entitled, ôRomantic Times █
█ 4 IIö. The songs, ôCome On and Jacuzzi with █
█ Candlesö on this CD was played by DJs, Donnie █
█ Simpson, DJ Flex and DJ Rico of the radio █
█ station, 95.5 WPGC FM. █
█ For the past 12 years, Malik has performed and █
█ work with numerous artists. He is now pursuing a █
█ career as a soloist. Malik still enjoys writing █
█ and producing music for other artists. He has █
█ written over 500 songs. █
█ Malik is an extremely talented artist and █
█ entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Triple █
█ 8 Records. In addition to writing songs, Malik █
█ has written three movies and eight jingles for █
█ soda commercials. █
█ Malik would like to thank all the people that █
█ supported him and told him never to give up his █
█ dreams. █
