Release Notes:
From out of Melbourne comes The Scissor File. A melodic
rock outfit armed with a fistful of catchy rock anthems,
with their hearts on their sleeves and the no bullshit
attitude that has become synonymous with Pee Records.
Their debut EP "From A Whisper To A Scream" is sure to
get people talking about one of the best new rock bands
in the country.
Taking cues from Unwritten Law, Bodyjar, Saosin and Taking
Back Sunday, The Scissor File still manages to create a
sound entirely its own. Big riffs, dual vocals, catchy
melodies and a rock attitude are prevalent on the five
tracks that make up "From A Whisper To A Scream"... and
you're guaranteed to be singing along in no time.
Having recently shared the stage with Trial Kennedy,
Horsell Common, Angela's Dish and The Getaway Plan to
name a few, The Scissor File is set to step out of the
shadows in 2007 and make a name for themselves in the
Australian rock scene.
