│ This is one of those races to see who can get the song out there │
│ first, namely the single "The Power," a chart position and sales │
│ battle between the duo Snap and rapper Chill Rob G. You see, G felt a │
│ bit slighted when Snap lifted some of his rhyme from "Let The Words │
│ Flow," and snatched them back for Power Jam Featuring Chill Rob G's │
│ "The Power," only to be outdone again by Snap's relentless │
│ determination to dominate the situation. All the while, there hasn't │
│ been a hint of credit given to Jocelyn Brown for sampling her │
│ soulside hit from 1985. It's a mess-one that your average record │
│ buyer could probably care less about, but for those involved and, on │
│ a larger scale, the business of music, giving credit where credit is │
│ due has become a very big item of concern. Aside from the sappy │
│ ballad on this LP, the singles pump a supreme techno-house style and │
│ will undoubtedly ALL have their moment in this summer's club haze. │
│ Like Deskee, this duo-singer Jackie Harris and rapper Turbo B-uses │
│ and abuses the sample privilege (from ELP to Tyree), and sometimes │
│ we'd wished they paid homage to something more original. Play Name │
│ That Tune with these: "The Power," "Cult Of Snap," "Believe The │
│ Hype," "Mary Had A Little Boy' and "Blase Blase." │

│ Yeah, we did it. One year ago, at September, 6th, we released our │
│ first album "The New, The Classic & The Unexplored Vol. 1" under the │
│ UBE label. We started as a small group of friends who knew each other │
│ from various german MP3 channels on IRCNet, and from this time on UBE │
│ realized, that here are much more possibilities for us. │
│ Now, after a year of both trouble and fun, we can look back at many │
│ quality releases, and we are proud of our work. Now it's time to thank │
│ everybody who helped us to grow that big. Fat props fly out to all │
│ siteops, friends, members, ex-members, all other mp3 groups and last │
│ but not least you, the guys who leech our stuff. │
│ Expect more of UBE in the next year, we have a strong memberbase to │
│ rock your house with cool music. │
