Release Notes:

Warm vocals from the sublime Singers Unlimited -- easily one of
the hippest vocal groups working in the 70s! This nicely priced
set is a great introduction to the group's excellent recordings
for the MPS label -- and it features tunes from nearly a decade's
worth of albums, all done in slightly different modes that range
from pure acapella vocals, to backings big and small. Yet
throughout the set, there's always a focus on the voice --
recorded with pristine sound and impeccable harmonies, and really
taken to a new level of expression, thanks to the inventive
arrangements of group leader Gene Puerling. If you dig Free
Design, think of these guys as the next step beyond -- and enjoy
the set of 18 tunes that includes "Wave", "Ecstasy", "She Was Too
Good To Me", "Look Around", "Invitation", "Sleep Loved", "We Could
Be Flying", "I'm Shadowing You", and "Eventide".
