Release Notes:
by soul seduction
S.K.Invitational - that means 15 musicians shifting the borders of
live music several steps further. The combination of bigband
sound, pumping beats and deep bass lines brings a new musical
flavour to your eardrum and you will automatically be forced to
move your ass and dance. The musicians` energy, their musical
skills create a stunning sound, a monumental storm made of
unheard-of tunes ranging from HipHop, Dancehall and Drum&Bass to
Jazz. This band┤s extraordinary, novel sound demands a special
instrumental cast of young, upcoming musicians. The two drummers
harmonize with easiness and complexity as you may know it from
electronic artists like Aphex Twin or Squarepusher. Solos and raps
melt into one, horn parts join melody and groove together, fast
unisono-lines get destroyed by hard effects. On its debut album,
S.K.Invitational features well known artists like Mono&Nikitaman,
Flip (of Texta), Lylit, DNK Movement and trombone player Nils
Wogram.
