|   |  Andy stott appears to be on a mission to tap into as many low-end  |   |
|   |  variants as his hectic touring schedule will allow, having just    |   |
|   |  returned from a triumphant show at barcelona's sonar festival,     |   |
|   |  freshly invigorated for summer. "Fear of heights" opens the        |   |
|   |  a-side and is another stripped emission, a skeletal bass           |   |
|   |  oscillation forms the backbone of the track while midnight chords  |   |
|   |  wash into the mix and flutter alongside tempered hi-hats to        |   |
|   |  create a heaving BASS classic. It's just too good. "Made your      |   |
|   |  point" on the flipside is an altogether more rugged prospect and   |   |
|   |  has been getting serious airplay these last couple of months,      |   |
|   |  metallic shards drift into view evoking the spirit of monolake at  |   |
|   |  his finest, or chain reaction's mighty "various artists",          |   |
|   |  creating a hybrid sound that's somewhere between the developed     |   |
|   |  neon variations of berlin's T++ (an artist whom even Shackleton    |   |
|   |  and Appleblim's Skull Disco crew seem to be in awe of at the       |   |
|   |  moment) and dubstep at its most ferocious and stripped. How can    |   |
|   |  you describe this sound?? MURDER!!!                                |   |
