Release Notes:
Formed in 2002, Glissando have spent the years thus
far welcoming and unwelcoming strangers and friends
to the sounds they make, occasionally releasing the
odd limited edition CDr here and there along the
way.
A now more settled combination of Richard Knox and
Elly May Irving has seen a much more focused and
ultimately finer output in recent years. The
re-housing of their Cloud Blunt Moon studio has
certainly made life much easier. Live performances
usually see an array of different musicians,
changing from show to show.
The ambient and experimental sounds bring to mind
the likes of Low, Gregor Samsa and Cocteau Twins.
