forro in the dark makes people dance like they forgot they could.

birthplace at nublu well beyond capacity every wednesday night.

on this follow-up to their debut twelve inch with seu jorge, forro
in the dark present three versions of their acclaimed single with
david byrne, asa branca. aside from the original, organic,
feel-good track; the real tuesday weld's clerkenwell cowboy lends
an open, airy version that could find a home in a classic, french
cabaret as easily as it could in the early hours of a dancefloor.
dublex inc's mix is a masterfully done, downtempo rework with a
full jazz band and dubbed out vocals. and as an added bonus,
there's a bouncy dublex and forro collaboration called kidon kibom
energized dubbed out grooves that'll get anyone to the dancefloor.
